Curtis MacDonald

Curtis MacDonald is an early stage tech investor and entrepreneur.

Over a 5 year period at HTGF, one of Europe's largest and most active VC firms, Curtis built a profitable portfolio of 12 IT startups. He led dozens of HTGF's transactions, including the firm's first international investments. He remains active for HTGF as a Venture Partner.

Prior to moving to Germany, Curtis founded a VC-backed WiFi company, hField Technologies. Over the next five years in his roles as CEO and later as CTO, Curtis was responsible for the technological and product development of the company’s first product, the Wi-Fire (previously available at Best Buy).

At Lehigh University Curtis was awarded a dual IBE Business and Computer Engineering degree, followed later by a Masters in Mechanical Engineering.

Curtis spends his free time working on numerous software and hardware projects.
